Inaugeral Post

Welcome all!

As my first post, I want us to catch up on the new year. Its only 2 weeks into the new year and Cubemate has already bought 5 items on Amazon. He also searches woot.com, 13deals.com, thingfling.com, buyershq.com, and housewaresdeals.com (um I think that’s a sum of it all!).

So lets get started. Jan 1-10th he says had no appealing deals. ;-) Or maybe he was doing good with his New Year's resolution, oh wait, he just didn’t buy anything from Amazon! Haha. So he has Amazon Prime where he pays extra per year to get guaranteed 2 day shipping (if straight from Amazon and not an affiliate). So he's slightly a shop-o-haul-ic there. But we found out he forgot about a WOOT order on the 4th! So he wasn’t that good of a kid afterall ;-). These items of the new year are his "i didnt get it for Christmas so i am buying it now" list. At least thats the excuse he is using for buying this week!

Sadly this one was not purchased with his "VIP" Amazon account. He has to wait like the rest of us peasants for his package. AND! sad thing is that he wasnt sure he had even purchased it until i pushed to write this blog about him. Made him do some research! So this blog just saved him from wasting more money and buying it twice!

Cubemate would like to live in Japan one day (i think because of his love of the small and frail women) and thus is trying to learn Japanese. But, this useful book waits unused in the BACK ROOM of his mother's house, where most items end up he buys!
*"unmentionable" hmmm not sure what to tell you since i dont even know what it is. (Ah the barriers of conversation between male and female coworkers...) All i can say is that it must be something dirty ;-) AND EVEN THIS GOES UNUSED! haha

From Amazon    expected 1/14  *1/17 DELIVERED 1/14  location: CAR! wow!
This purchase goes back to the "i didnt get it for Christmas" but most of all is "i didnt get it from my girlfriend for Christmas". Sadly, Cubemate's girlfriend doesnt do well for gift buying. He now has two copies of the Family Guy Trology on Bluray!
